The Newest Nelsen

We have adopted a new family member! He is our adorable little pound puppy that we have named Oliver (the brief stint as "Buddy" did not seem to suit him). He is (we think) a Pekingese mix. His papers from the Humane Society identified as both a Shih Tzu AND Pekingese. But, he is long like a wiener dog. We'll never know.

He had kennel cough when we got him, so our first ten days with him involved a lot of watching him sleep. In fact, he didn't bark once until he had been with us for a couple of weeks. He does still sleep a lot, but he does like to play fetch (in the hallway, which is funny).

Dylan likes to walk Oliver to the bus in the morning. He is always excited to see his "goggy" when he gets off of the bus after preschool.

He is not a barker or a digger, but he does like to chew on Dylan's toys. Or underwear. Can't figure that one out, but whatever. He's a sweet, cute addition to our family.
