On this beautiful (but hot!) day, we went out to Twanoh State Park with my friend Jill and her girls. Dylan, Rachel and I, that is. It was wonderful in the shade, but out on the water was too hot for me and the little guy. He made it halfway down to the water in his swim suit before retreating to the shade beneath the majestic pine trees.
Rach had fun until she fell in the water and was nicked by oyster shells. She found the Band-Aids and Neosporin herself. She was not impressed.
I had some fun with Allie, while she made some funny faces for the camera.
I said, "Look cute with your mom!" She was cute, alright.
But, the real fun began when Jill suggested the kids play with the fountain. It was in the shade, and soon, water was pooled at the base and the kids were running through it.
As you can see, it was the only green grass in the park.
Dylan favored to go sans the bathing suit for nearly nude. It was so hot! I haven't bothered to dress him in a couple of days. The forecast is for about 100 degrees tomorrow! Crazy!
