Today was just beautiful. A little on the warm side for me, so we decided to get out of the house and head out for some ice cream and beach time. I took some photos of the lovely Scenic Beach and wanted to share them.
I was supposed to work today, but instead had Vertigo. That's a long, unrelated story.
I loved this one: me and my tootsies in the lovely shade, the boys throwing rocks and Rachel pining away for her swimsuit (it's packed), but getting wet to her waist anyway.
I loved these shots of my husband and our son. Some beautiful memories of Byran showing Dylan how to skip rocks. Dylan had more fun throwing the rocks than anything. The water was a bit chilly!
Before we went to the beach, we had to stop off for some soft serve. A wonderful thing on a hot day!
Rachel turned to me and said: "Mom! Put this picture of me diggin' my tongue into the ice cream in your blog! See!"
"AND put diggin' not 'digging'!"
She's so cute....
I wish I could have had a photo of Dylan losing his ice cream his lap, but you'll have to settle for this one of our cutie pie. He sat and stared at his ice cream while it melted, took a few licks and then ran off to play. He loves it, but only so much.
Scenic Beach is sooo pretty!
